Vallourec announced the official qualification of Delphy, its vertical gaseous H2 storage solution, by DNV. A world first, Delphy enables the storage of 1 to 100 tons of H2 under maximum safety conditions.

In Lower Saxony’s Etzel, the H2CAST pilot project, which involves converting two existing salt caverns for H2 storage, is now entering the next phase: Gasunie and Storag Etzel have started jointly injecting around 90 tons of H2 into two existing caverns.
