Hylium Industries, a leading liquid H2 specialist, announced the signing of a major contract with AirFirst, Korea’s premier industrial gas provider, for the manufacturing and supply of large-scale liquid H2 storage systems.
Under this agreement, Hylium will supply large liquid H2 storage systems required by AirFirst to meet substantial H2 demands from domestic customers. This partnership highlights Hylium’s internationally recognized technological expertise and exceptional product quality.
Hylium Industries has secured a pioneering role in the liquid H2 sector, notably achieving Korea’s first successful localization of liquid H2 technology, thereby significantly contributing to the growth of the domestic H2 economy.
The company offers comprehensive products and solutions across the entire H2 value chain, including H2 liquefiers, large-capacity storage tanks, mobility tanks, and liquid H2-powered drones.
Hylium's liquid H2 tanks have received international acclaim for their exceptional durability and reliability, especially under ultra-low temperature conditions. Key features include high-efficiency Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) technology, minimizing evaporation loss, and sophisticated temperature control and pressure maintenance systems ensuring stable conditions during long-term storage.
These advanced technologies significantly enhance storage tank performance and minimize transportation risks.
AirFirst, founded in 1975, is Korea's leading industrial gas company, providing nitrogen, oxygen, argon, H2, and other industrial gases. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, AirFirst aims to become a global leader in industrial gases, prioritizing stable and reliable supply to its customers. Selecting Hylium Industries as a core supplier of liquid H2 storage systems emphasizes the significance of this collaboration.
An AirFirst representative stated, “Hylium Industries was selected as our liquid H2 storage partner due to its stringent quality management systems, ongoing R&D efforts, numerous international certifications, and the global-standard safety and quality demonstrated through rigorous product testing and validation.”
This contract with AirFirst is expected to further solidify Hylium’s technological leadership in the global liquid H2 market. Currently pursuing a technology-special listing, Hylium plans to leverage this contract to expand its presence in domestic and international markets.
