H2Tech: Projects Update
India’s renewable energy ministry announced plans to commit approximately $4 B to commercialize a green H2 ecosystem in the country. The ministry’s roadmap focused on the developing infrastructure, materials and technologies to help boost green H2 production and distribution in India.
Construction begins at Port of Rotterdam for national H2 network
The construction of the national H2 network, which begins in Rotterdam’s port, officially started. The network, which is open to all suppliers and buyers of H2, will eventually reach 1,200 kilometers in length and offer five Dutch industrial clusters access to green H2.
Repsol begins producing renewable H2 at Petronor
Repsol has begun producing renewable H2 at its Petronor industrial center (Biscay, Spain). The 2.5-MW electrolyzer can generate 350 tpy of renewable H2 for industrial use, mainly in the refinery, as a raw material for manufacturing products with a lower carbon footprint.
