The HGHH project plans to start commercial operations in the second half of 2027. Around 10,000 tpy of green hydrogen are set to be produced in Moorburg in the future.

With the award of the contract for civil engineering and building construction work to a general contractor – a consortium of the construction companies Ludwig Freytag, Gebrüder Neumann and MBN – the concrete implementation of one of the largest hydrogen projects in Europe to date begins.

This initiative directly supports Malaysia’s commitments under the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the Hydrogen Economy and Technology Roadmap (HETR) and reinforces the nation’s position as a future regional leader in green hydrogen.

Fusion Fuel Green PLC has announced that its subsidiary, Bright Hydrogen Solutions Ltd. (BrightHy Solutions), has signed a definitive contract to be the engineering, installation and equipment provider for a green H₂ project in southern Europe.

Stablegrid Group has chosen ITM Power as the technology partner and supplier for two energy infrastructure projects in Germany, totaling 710 MW of electrolyzer capacity.

Shell Energy Europe Limited, a subsidiary of Shell plc, has signed two separate power purchase agreements (PPAs) in Germany with Nordsee One GmbH and Solarkraftwerk Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf I/II Gmbh.

Plug Power announced it has been selected for an equipment supply and long-term service agreement (LTSA) totaling 55 MW for three green hydrogen projects being developed by Carlton Power in the UK. 

Quest One and Ryze Power have agreed to collaborate on a joint customer solution to enable end-to-end H₂ supply. The cooperation bridges the gap between H₂ production and offtake, offering a holistic solution to accelerate the delivery of H₂ to mobility and industrial users across Europe.

Cell Impact and thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering have entered a strategic cooperation agreement for joint market success in the field of H₂.

Smoltek Hydrogen has received an order for samples of low iridium-load porous transport electrodes (PTE) for PEM electrolyzers. The electrodes will be used in a joint development project with Heraeus Precious Metals, a global leader in precious metals.

The pathway to decarbonizing global transport is one of the greatest industrial challenges of our time. In hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation, shipping and long-haul road freight, electrification is unlikely to provide a complete solution.

Tyczka Hydrogen GmbH is fully acquiring the electrolysis plant, including the associated H₂ refueling station, trailer filling system, and the local H₂ expert team.
