First Atlantic Nickel and Colorado School of Mines launch research partnership to explore geologic H2
First Atlantic Nickel Corp. announced a strategic research partnership with Colorado School of Mines to explore geologic H2 as an energy source. This collaboration will focus on two significant ophiolite complexes in Newfoundland, Canada: the St. Anthony Ophiolite Complex (Atlantis Project, 103 km²) and the Pipestone Ophiolite Complex (Atlantic Nickel Project, 71 km²).

BASF commissions 54-megawatt water electrolyzer
Germany’s largest proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer has gone into operation at BASF’s Ludwigshafen site. Designed to produce zero-carbon H2, the electrolyzer has a connected load of 54 megawatts and the capacity to supply the main plant with up to one metric ton of this substantial chemical feedstock every hour.
